Female Salon Assistant

The Salon Assistant supports the beauty team with daily operations to ensure a clean, organized, and smooth-running salon environment. She helps with basic beauty-support tasks such as hair washing, blow-dry assistance, preparing stations, and simple nail duties like polish application.

1. Cleaning & Salon Maintenance

• Sweep floors regularly, especially after haircuts.

• Sanitize tools and equipment as instructed.

• Restock towels, tissues, cotton pads, and consumables.

• Maintain the reception area, refreshment area, and waiting zone tidy at all times.

2. Hair Support Duties

• Wash clients’ hair following the correct technique and pressure level.

• Apply treatments, masks, and tonics under the stylist’s supervision.

• Assist with blow-drying (basic blow dry, rough dry).

• Prepare hair stations before each client (brushes, products, tools).

• Help stylists during color services (passing foils, mixing as instructed, holding sections).

3. Nail Support Duties

• Assist nail technicians by preparing nail stations.

• Remove nail polish for clients (if needed).

• Apply regular nail polish (no gel) neatly and professionally.

• Help with basic manicure steps such as filing, buffing, and soaking (as trained).

• Sterilize tools and keep nail area clean.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a salon.

• Basic knowledge of hair washing and nail polish application.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and willingness to learn.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month
