Job Summary
The Sandwich Maker is responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and light food items in accordance with company recipes, hygiene standards, and presentation guidelines. The role ensures efficient food preparation while maintaining cleanliness, food safety, and excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare sandwiches, wraps, and related menu items as per standard recipes.
- Ensure food quality, freshness, and proper portion control at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work station and equipment.
- Follow food safety and HACCP standards strictly.
- Assist in ingredient preparation such as cutting vegetables, portioning meats, and sauces.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor of shortages.
- Ensure proper storage of food items and minimize wastage.
- Support the kitchen team during busy operations.
- Follow company grooming and hygiene standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous experience in sandwich making or kitchen operations preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
