Assistant Teacher (Female) – Early Years / Nursery

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Female Assistant Teacher to support our Early Years team in delivering high-quality care and learning in line with the EYFS framework. The role requires a calm, proactive individual who can contribute to a safe, engaging, and well-structured learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment
• Supervise children at all times, ensuring health, safety, and safeguarding standards are met
• Help children with daily routines (feeding, toileting, dressing, transitions)
• Encourage children’s social, emotional, and language development
• Prepare learning materials and classroom resources
• Observe and report children’s progress and behaviour to the teacher
• Maintain positive and professional communication with colleagues and parents
• Follow all nursery policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Female candidate (as per operational and cultural requirements)
• Minimum High School Certificate (Early Childhood qualification preferred)
• Previous experience in a nursery, preschool, or childcare setting is an advantage
• Basic understanding of EYFS is preferred
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Patient, caring, and able to work as part of a team
