Female Warden

Female warden required for orphanage girls home.

Responsibilities:

• Overall administration of all girls' hostels.
• Allot rooms to students in accordance with hostel rules and maintain proper records of allocation and de-allocation.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of hostel residents and ensure regular collection of dues.
• Ensure proper maintenance of rooms, hostel premises, and all hostel facilities.
• Monitor the quality and hygiene of food served in the hostel mess.
• Coordinate with the procurement department to ensure the timely availability of quality items for the hostels.
• Address day-to-day issues and resolve grievances of hostel residents in a timely manner.
• Supervise hostel staff and coordinate with assistant wardens/resident wardens to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Conduct regular visits to the hostels to enhance interaction with students and monitor facilities.
• Ensure discipline within the hostels and take appropriate action in cases of indiscipline; report serious matters, including ragging, to the disciplinary committee.
• Check and maintain registers, ledgers, and other records kept by gatekeepers and hostel staff.
• Implement decisions taken by the competent authorities related to hostel administration.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the efficient functioning of the hostels.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and positive living environment in the hostels.

Requirements:

• Graduate/Masters in any discipline (preference for candidates with background in administration/management/social sciences).
• 3 - 4 Years prior experience as a hostel warden.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain discipline while being approachable to students.
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Physically fit and willing to stay within hostel premises
