Fence Installer/Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Fence Installer/Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining fences and related structures on various construction sites. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction-related tasks, possess strong physical stamina, and be committed to safety and quality workmanship. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in carpentry, masonry, and landscape maintenance while contributing to high-quality fencing projects.

Duties

• Install new fences using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
• Measure and mark fence lines accurately according to project specifications
• Dig post holes and set posts securely in concrete or soil
• Assist with framing, concrete forming, and finishing tasks as needed
• Operate welding equipment for metal fence components when required
• Perform heavy lifting of materials such as wood, metal, and concrete components
• Maintain a clean and organized work site to ensure safety and efficiency
• Assist with landscape maintenance and hardscape projects related to fencing installations
• Follow safety protocols at all times during installation and site work
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule

Requirements

• Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or related fields preferred
• Knowledge of frame carpentry, masonry, concrete finishing, or landscape maintenance is a plus
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction machinery safely
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in outdoor environments for extended periods
• Construction site experience is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license preferred for transporting materials and equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
