In this energetic role, you will operate specialized tools to accurately apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments across diverse landscaping and land management sites. Your expertise will directly contribute to vibrant lawns and thriving landscapes. We’re looking for motivated individuals who enjoy working outdoors, handling equipment safely, and supporting sustainable land use practices.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery, hand tools, power tools, and land management equipment to apply fertilizers, pesticides, and soil amendments efficiently and accurately.
  • Conduct pre-application inspections of equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning before each job.
  • Follow detailed application procedures to meet environmental regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of applications performed, including quantities used and locations treated.
  • Assist with site assessments to determine the appropriate treatment plans for lawns or landscaping projects.
  • Support pest control efforts by applying targeted treatments to protect crops or landscapes from pests and diseases.
  • Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to all safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience with agriculture, farming, landscaping, or lawn care is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and land management equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating farm machinery is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions for chemical applications.
  • Good physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Excellent safety awareness and adherence to environmental regulations.
  • Nice-to-have skills include valid applicators license, sales experience related to agricultural products or lawn care services, as well as knowledge of pest control techniques.
