JOB SUMMARY- Seasonal Parks & Recreation Landscaping Maintenance Worker

SCHEDULE: Seasonal Part time – Spring/Summer/Fall 2026

RATE OF PAY: $15.00 / hour

SCHEDULE: 20-30 hours / week, must be available to work weekends and holidays

HOURS/SHIFT: Mon-Fri / Day Shift hours (some weekends required)

EXPERIENCE AND KEY CHARACTERISTICS FOR POSITION:

This part-time Landscaping Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing landscape and maintenance duties at city parks to include general lawn and landscape maintenance upkeep, weeding, edging, mowing, cleaning pavilions & restrooms,

· Previous landscaping experience preferred; must be able to use general landscaping equipment such as lawn movers and trimmers/edgers.

· Able to communicate effectively with the general public in a positive and helpful demeanor

· Demonstrates high integrity and work ethic

· Must pass a drug screen and complete a full background check performed by Ravenna P.D.

· This position requires interaction with the general public.
