Position: Field Application Engineer – Corrosion Prevention

Gender: Male/Female
Location: Panipat

Exp : 5+ years

Salary: Up to ₹50,000/month
Reporting To: Director

Role Overview:

Responsible for visiting customer sites across India, auditing production/packaging processes, identifying corrosion issues, and recommending practical solutions using VCI materials, desiccants, and RP oils.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct on-site audits of production, storage, and packaging areas to assess corrosion risks.

· Identify root causes related to moisture, contamination, handling, or process gaps.

· Demonstrate corrective actions using VCI films, papers, desiccants, and RP oils.

· Support field trials and prepare detailed audit reports with observations and photographs.

· Train customer teams on corrosion prevention and proper packing/handling practices.

· Coordinate with Sales/QC for customer-specific technical support.

· Track implementation results and ensure customer satisfaction.

· Provide feedback on market practices, competitor products, and field challenges.

Qualifications:

· Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.

Technical Knowledge:

· Corrosion mechanisms and environmental impact

· VCI & desiccant application

· Rust preventive oils / dewatering fluids

· Handling & storage of metal components

· Basic RCA tools (5 Why)

Skills & Requirements:

· Ability to independently conduct site audits and prepare technical reports

· Strong communication skills in English & Hindi; regional languages a plus

· Customer training and demonstration capability

· Willingness to travel extensively across India

· Experience with automotive/engineering/heavy equipment customers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
