Field Application Engineer

JOB TITLE: Field Application Engineer– Video Surveillance Systems

We are looking for a tech-savvy and motivated Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our growing security camera team. With nearly 20 years in e-commerce, we have built a strong presence in both online retail and B2B video surveillance solutions.

This role combines hands-on technical support, product testing, networking, and market analysis within the fast-growing CCTV industry. You will work with the latest surveillance technologies, troubleshoot real-world system issues, evaluate new products, and collaborate with customers, manufacturers, and internal teams to deliver effective security solutions.

What You’ll Do

Technical Support

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for IP cameras, NVRs, networking systems, and related surveillance products
• Assist customers and installers with product setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and system integration
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, firmware, software, and network-related issues
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical training, and customer support sessions
• Work closely with internal teams and manufacturers to resolve technical issues and improve customer satisfaction

Product & Market Analysis / Project & Application Management

• Analyze market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback within the video surveillance industry
• Evaluate new products, technologies, and firmware for product development and business opportunities
• Coordinate technical projects, product testing, and application support activities
• Maintain technical documentation, issue tracking, and project records
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, and manufacturers to support product improvements and project execution

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Networking, or related technical field
• 1+ years of experience in technical support, field application engineering, product support, or related roles preferred
• Experience in CCTV, video surveillance, networking systems, or electronic security industry preferred
• Strong understanding of IP networking concepts

Candidates with strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple projects independently, and willingness to travel occasionally for customer or project support are highly preferred.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 annually
