Field Assistant – Raw Material

Job Purpose:

To directly engage with villages, aggregators, and traders for biomass collection, documentation, and logistics. Supports the plant-based procurement team in achieving biomass supply targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit villages, aggregators, and traders regularly to collect biomass material as per plan.
• Document daily sourcing activities and update plant MIS records.
• Ensure correct measurement, quality checks, and paperwork for inbound materials.
• Support local logistics for transporting raw materials from field to plant.
• Assist in resolving supply issues with vendors or transporters.
• Provide field-level market intelligence on biomass pricing and availability to plant managers.
• Follow safety and compliance protocols during procurement and transport.
• Build positive relationships with local suppliers and community members.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum high school education; additional training/experience in agriculture or logistics preferred.
• 2+ years field experience in agri-sourcing, commodity collection, or rural outreach.
• Familiarity with villages/local suppliers and ability to travel extensively.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of strenuous outdoor work.
• Basic documentation and reporting skills; local language proficiency required.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹36,282.29 per month
