Field Coordinator-Mojhlu Maths Project

Overview

We are a charitable trust working since last 20 years in the field of education, especially focusing on improving foundational learning, strengthening academic skills, and providing quality educational support to students across various backgrounds. We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Maths Trainer cum Field Co-ordinator to strengthen core concepts of Maths and make it simple, fun and engaging for students.

About the Project

“Mojilu Maths" is a specific educational initiative in the Valsad district of Gujarat, India, aimed at making mathematics learning and enjoyable for students in primary schools. It is a collaborative project led by the District Education Office, Valsad, and Maa Foundation, Vapi. The project focuses on:

• Enhancing teachers’ skills through comprehensive training.
• Engaging students through improved teaching methods and activities.
• Improving pedagogy to create a more positive and fun learning experience.

The initiative began with 72 primary schools in the first phase and is planned to expand to more schools in the future. The broader objective is to encourage future enrollment in science streams by strengthening students’ mathematical foundation and interest.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach fundamental maths concepts to students in government primary schools
• Execute the project end-to-end at the field level, ensuring smooth implementation in assigned schools
• Interact and coordinate with students and teachers to facilitate effective project activities and outcomes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with teachers, school authorities, and government primary school administration to support project success
• Timely reporting to the concerned authorities
• Willing to travel locally in government primary schools

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Any graduate with strong mathematical skills (B.Sc Maths preferred) (Age 22-30 Years)
• Good communication skills, especially fluency in Gujarati
• Should have basic knowledge of MS Excel and Powerpoint
• Freshers with the required qualifications and skills can also apply
• PTC qualified candidates can also apply
• Salary will be as per candidate’s experience
