Field Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Field Technician to support telecom/network operations across Nebraska. This role is field-based and requires hands-on technical skills, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the flexibility to travel to customer and network sites.

What You’ll Do

• Install, maintain, and repair telecom/network equipment (routers, switches, fiber, wireless systems, telecom. small cells, etc.)
• Perform site surveys, cabling, testing, commissioning, integration, RF testing and troubleshooting of network issues
• Support upgrades , service restoration, and preventive maintenance activities
• Document all work performed and ensure compliance with company and industry standards
• Partner with internal teams and vendors to ensure on-time project delivery

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience as a Field Technician in telecom or networking
• Knowledge of wireless (LTE/5G), fiber, or ISP environments
• Hands-on experience with tools, test equipment, and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and travel within Nebraska
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
