Position Summary
This position provides advanced administrative support to the Office of Field Experiences and serves as a primary point of contact for faculty, staff, students, and local school district partners. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Working closely with the Director of Field Experiences and Practicum Coordinator, the Field Experiences Support Specialist manages and communicates information related to practicums and clinical practice (student teaching). Key responsibilities include organizing and maintaining data in the ELC/Tevera educator preparation program assessment system, responding to email and phone inquiries, assisting walk-in students, and coordinating student field experiences and internships. The role also supports planning and execution of events for students and cooperating teachers. Additional responsibilities include updating website content using Cascade CMS for advising, teacher certification, and field experiences in collaboration with the supervisor and other stakeholders.
