Field Legal Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking committed and legally qualified professionals to join our Legal Department as Field Legal Officers. The selected candidates will play a critical role in supporting the Bank’s Recovery Team by providing legal assistance in field operations, coordinating with law enforcement agencies, and representing the Bank in courts, police stations and other law enforcement authorities across various districts of Sindh.

• Placement Regions: Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur and Nawabshah. Only candidates from these locations or willing to be posted among these cities should apply.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal support to the Bank's Recovery and Collections Team during field recovery operations. Accompany Recovery Field Officers to police stations, courts, and law enforcement offices across assigned districts.
2. Liaise with local law enforcement agencies to facilitate legal action against defaulters or non-compliant borrowers.
3. Draft and file legal documents, complaints, applications, and assist in the preparation of case files for litigation.
4. Attend court hearings, where required, on behalf of the Bank in coordination with panel lawyers.
5. Ensure legal compliance during all recovery activities and field visits.
6. Maintain proper documentation and reports related to legal field activity.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum Qualification: LLB from an HEC recognized University.
• Professional Status: Must be a registered Advocate with a valid license to practice in Sindh.
• Experience: 1–3 years of legal practice preferred, particularly in litigation or banking/recovery matters (fresh graduates with strong interest may also apply).
• Travel Requirement: Willing to travel extensively within rural areas of assigned regions (Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, or Nawabshah).
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to handle field situations diplomatically and legally.
• Placement Regions: Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur and Nawabshah.

Remuneration : Market competitive salary with benefits in line with the Bank's policy.
