K&J Tree Service is seeking a highly organized and proactive Field Operations Coordinator to oversee scheduling, dispatch crews, and coordinate daily field operations.
This is a logistics and operations role, not a traditional office position. In this role, you will ensure our crews, equipment, and customer appointments are coordinated efficiently so work is completed safely and on schedule while serving as a key communication hub between the office, field crews, and customers. You will monitor job progress, make real-time scheduling adjustments, and prepare the following day’s operations.

What You'll Do
- Build and manage the daily schedule for multiple tree crews, ensuring efficient routing and productivity
- Dispatch crews and adjust schedules in real time based on weather, job progress, and operational needs
- Monitor job status, crew locations, and completion timelines throughout the day
- Serve as the communication hub between field crews, management, and customers
- Coordinate equipment allocation including bucket trucks, cranes, chippers, and stump grinders
- Communicate arrival windows and scheduling updates to customers
- Prepare the next day’s schedule, routing, and job readiness to ensure smooth operations
- Identify scheduling improvements to reduce downtime and increase crew productivity
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in dispatching, scheduling, logistics coordination, or a similar operational role
- Experience in construction, landscaping, tree service, utilities, or other field-service industries strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage complex schedules involving multiple crews, job sites, and equipment resources simultaneously
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills when working with field teams, customers, and management
- Comfortable using CRM systems, routing software, scheduling platforms, and standard office applications
- Dependable, proactive, and capable of making sound decisions when operational conditions change
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Every other Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
