As we continue to grow, we are looking for a driven and resourceful individual to join our team in a key operational role.
About the Role
This is a dynamic, field-based management assistant position supporting our Installation Manager across multiple business streams including refrigeration, HVAC, EV charging infrastructure, and emerging energy efficiency products. No two days are the same. You will be conducting energy audits, coordinating with installers, visiting job sites, and playing a hands-on role in keeping projects moving from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow with a company and take on increasing responsibility over time.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct field audits and surveys of commercial locations including rooftop HVAC units, hot water tanks, boilers, and other energy systems — documenting equipment model numbers and conditions with photos
Assist in managing a team of field installers — supporting scheduling, answering operational questions, and ensuring jobs are running smoothly
Accompany energy company inspectors on site visits to verify equipment documentation
Conduct pre and post installation site visits — documenting site conditions through photos and video
Coordinate with internal teams including sales, purchasing, and administrative staff
Support project coordination for refrigeration, HVAC, EV charging, and other energy efficiency projects
Utilize company technology platforms including Monday.com, Google Drive, Google Calendar, and WhatsApp for job tracking and communication
What We're Looking For
Prior management or supervisory experience is required — you will be assisting in managing a field team and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
Basic knowledge of HVAC and or commercial refrigeration systems is strongly preferred
Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
A people person — outgoing, professional, and comfortable communicating with clients, inspectors, and team members
Comfortable working with technology and open to using AI tools to improve efficiency
Physically fit and comfortable working at heights (rooftop inspections) and in confined spaces (basements, utility closets, above drop ceilings)
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
Must be based in or willing to travel throughout Greater New Jersey Area and Eastern PA
A self-starter who takes initiative and isn't afraid to learn new things
