JOB DESCRIPTION:-

Field Sales Executive – Trade / Dealer Channel
(Building Materials / Construction Products)

Full-time

Spartek Group – Chennai

Reporting To: Territory Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager
Experience: 3–5 years (minimum 3–4 years mandatory)

Role Purpose

To grow Spartek Group’s sales through dealers, sub-dealers, and retailers by actively developing the market, expanding distribution reach, increasing product penetration, and ensuring strong trade-level visibility and relationships.

This is a field-intensive, execution-driven role requiring daily market engagement and discipline.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Market Development

  • Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Expand and strengthen the dealer and sub-dealer network in assigned territories.
  • Increase share of wallet by cross-selling multiple product categories.
  • Ensure proper product display, visibility, and merchandising at retail points.

Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with dealers, retailers, contractors, and local influencers.
  • Proactively resolve issues related to supply, service, pricing, and complaints.
  • Support and execute dealer schemes, promotions, and market activations.

Field Discipline & Execution

  • Plan and execute daily field visits (minimum X productive calls per day).
  • Track visits, orders, follow-ups, and collections using CRM / mobile tools.
  • Provide continuous market feedback on competition, pricing, schemes, and trends.

Collections & Credit Control

  • Ensure timely collections and adherence to approved credit norms.
  • Identify and flag payment risks early, coordinating with the finance team to manage receivables.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should have 3–5 years of field sales experience in any of the following sectors:

  • Paints
  • Plywood / laminates
  • Tiles / sanitaryware
  • Electricals / hardware
  • Building materials or interior products

Strong familiarity with dealer, distributor, and retail trade networks is essential.

Must own a two-wheeler and be comfortable with extensive daily field travel within Chennai and surrounding areas.
