About the role

Mechanical Site Service Engineer for handling

• Aftermarket site services of FLSmidth Core equipment* & Similar Non-FLSmidth equipment related to Hydromet & Pyromet - Rotary kiln/Cooler, Dryer in Mining industry
• Mechanical site installation of Core Products related to Pyromet in Mining industry.

• Thickener

• Flotation

• Automatic Filter Press

• Horizontal Belt Filter

• Kiln (2 support, 3 support Kiln, 4 support Kiln)

• Dryer
• Granulator
• Cooler
• Coater (All types of rotary drums)

Your responsibilities

• Adhere to Safety Protocols
• Undergo safety induction & medical test, as applicable for specific site
• Follow Safety standards/practices of FLSmidth & Client at site
• Conduct a safety inspection & understand about site prior to start of site activities.
• Co-ordinate with client / site to get gate pass to access plant premises & permit to work.
• Understand the scope of work, schedule of activities planned, requirement of manpower, tools & tackles for carrying out any shutdown activities / new installation.
• Ensure that the assigned jobs are done in accordance with Instruction Manuals/Drawings/SOPs.
• Independently/jointly supervise site jobs carried out by mechanical contractors
• Preparation of Reports and Protocols - No load and Load trial Protocols, Commissioning Reports, Performance test Reports
• Coordination with Customer, Consultant and Various functions of FLSmidth for safe & proper site execution
• Accompany experienced service managers to support them on site activities
• May need to work extended hours at site to fulfil site demands
• Make Minutes of Meeting capturing all the site activities carried out and get it signed from client
• Collaborate with GPLM / RPLM of Communition products to resolve any site related product issues
• Collaborate with client, Identify business potential and Generate leads for After Market Business
• Support all service business activities while at office
• Above are the main job responsibilities. However, it will not be limited to this.

What you bring

Bachelor's degree / Diploma in in mechanical or equivalent engineering

• Minimum of 7- 1o years of experience in relevant field
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Team Player
• Good Interpersonal skills / disciplined / Go-Getter.
• Should have the ability to influence and set the trend
• Innovative and swift to take decision
• Knowledge to ready and understand IOM manuals, which are in English.
• Sound knowledge in understanding of Engineering drawings and interpretations of the same.
• Basic knowledge of erection techniques such as Safe Lifting methods, Optimum usage of tools & tackles, etc.,
• Basic knowledge of Erection and Commissioning, activity planning, Understanding of Erection schedules, etc.
• Knowledge of MS office
• Knowledge of MS Projects
• Willing to travel extensively all around ME countries (Approx. 200-250 days in a year)
• Fluent in English
