Experienced Forklift Engineers and Technicians – Battery & Diesel Forklift Trucks

We are seeking experienced and competent Forklift Engineers and Technicians for the maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and servicing of battery-powered and diesel forklift trucks and related material-handling equipment.

The successful candidates should possess strong practical knowledge of forklift electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, and diesel systems. They will be responsible for workshop and field-service assignments at customer sites across Karachi and, when required, other locations in Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults in battery-powered and diesel forklift trucks.
• Perform preventive maintenance, periodic servicing, inspections, and breakdown repairs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and control-system faults.
• Repair and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering systems, masts, chains, forks, and hydraulic components.
• Diagnose battery, charger, traction motor, controller, contactor, wiring, sensor, and electronic-control faults.
• Use diagnostic equipment, electrical meters, service manuals, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic schematics.
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify parts requiring repair or replacement.
• Prepare accurate service reports, inspection reports, job cards, and spare-parts recommendations.
• Attend customer sites promptly and complete assigned work safely and efficiently.
• Maintain tools, service equipment, and company property in good condition.
• Follow company procedures and occupational health and safety requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians where required.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma, DAE, technical certification, or relevant qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automotive, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the maintenance and repair of forklift trucks or similar industrial equipment.
• Practical experience with battery-electric and/or diesel forklift trucks is essential.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams, hydraulic schematics, and technical service manuals.
• Familiarity with electronic controllers, traction systems, industrial batteries, battery chargers, diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and transmissions.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites.
• Good communication, reporting, and customer-handling skills.
• Valid driving licence will be preferred.
• Willingness to travel for field-service assignments when required.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following will be given preference:

• Forklift trucks, reach trucks, stackers, pallet trucks, or warehouse equipment
• Material-handling or construction equipment
• Diesel engines and industrial transmissions
• Electric traction motors and motor controllers
• Lithium-ion and lead-acid battery systems
• Hydraulic pumps, control valves, cylinders, and steering systems
• Field-service and after-sales support operations

Salary and Benefits
