Role OverviewAs a Field Service Engineer, you will deliver end-to-end technical support to clients, including on-site installation guidance, commissioning, and troubleshooting for our energy storage products within the warranty period. You will ensure stable and efficient operation of products and deliver high-quality service experience. You will also provide professional training for installers, business partners and client operation and maintenance teams.
Job Responsibilities
1. Lead on-site installation, commissioning and full-range testing of PV and energy storage systems (DC side, AC side, EMS & SCADA systems), ensuring all operational parameters meet design standards and grid connection acceptance requirements.
2. Respond promptly to identify and resolve on-site technical faults related to equipment, communication, data and other issues to keep projects on track.
3. Maintain client relationships, update project progress regularly and address inquiries in a timely manner. Organize training for client operation and maintenance staff to improve overall service satisfaction.
4. Provide after-sales technical support for products and systems under warranty. Respond quickly to service requests, accurately diagnose and efficiently fix faults regarding equipment, communication links, data transmission and system control. Minimize downtime and ensure continuous and stable system operation.
Job Requirements
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Electrical Engineering, Automation or related disciplines.
2. Experience: Minimum 3 years of on-site delivery experience in the new energy or power industry. Hands-on experience in installation and commissioning of at least two large-scale energy storage projects with strong on-site troubleshooting capabilities.
3. Professional Skills: In-depth knowledge of the overall architecture and working principles of core energy storage equipment.
4. Competencies: Able to quickly diagnose and resolve complex on-site faults; familiar with full grid connection procedures; proficient in mainstream communication protocols and commissioning tools for independent system joint debugging. Possess a valid High/Low Voltage Electrician Certificate.
5. Language Skills: Fluent in Arabic and English. Proficiency in Chinese and other local languages is a plus.
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Oman
