About the Integrated Public Safety Commission (IPSC):
The IPSC facilitates statewide public safety communications. IPSC provides interoperable and reliable public safety communications systems to all Hoosier first responders and public safety professionals for use during routine, emergency, and task force situations. Our goal is to strengthen community safety and security by minimizing the financial and technological barriers to interoperable communications through interagency cooperation.
Role Overview:
This role will be responsible for maintaining tower sites within a designated geographical location within the southwest region of Indiana. Statewide daily travel is required for the position. You will be required to perform site visits, report/perform site repairs, and work with external agencies for radio performance upkeep. Those with telecommunication/networking experience and a General Radio Operating License (GROL) or EXTRA Class radio license are encouraged to apply.
Salary Statement:
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $55,224.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.

This position is exempt from overtime compensation for additional work hours which may be required to complete essential functions or other assigned work. Exempt employees may work more than 75 hours in a pay period without additional compensation and must report a minimum of 75 hours per pay period of work hours and/or paid leave taken to receive their base biweekly salary.
