Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. This role involves providing on-site repairs, installations, and surveys for our POS systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in POS systems and be experienced in servicing businesses such as restaurants and grocery stores. This position requires extensive knowledge of network setups and configurations, as the technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site repairs, installations, and maintenance of POS systems.
• Perform site surveys to assess and prepare for installation requirements.
• Troubleshoot network issues, including setup and configuration.
• Communicate effectively with clients and RSI to coordinate service visits and provide updates.
• Travel extensively within the North Carolina area, with occasional trips to South Carolina.
• Use personal mobile phone for communication with clients and RSI (compensation provided).

Requirements:

• Proven experience with POS systems, preferably in restaurants, grocery stores, or similar businesses.
• Strong knowledge of network setups, configurations, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel extensively within the designated service areas.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
