Field Service Technician

Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Department: Service / Operations

Reporting To: Service Manager / Operations Head

Location: As per project/site requirement

Experience: Fresher to 3 Years (Relevant Field Experience Preferred)

Job Summary:

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of company products at customer locations. The role requires extensive field travel, technical problem-solving skills, and customer handling capabilities to ensure high service standards and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and commissioning of products at client sites
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance
• Diagnose technical issues and provide on-site solutions
• Attend breakdown calls and ensure minimal downtime
• Coordinate with internal technical and production teams
• Maintain service reports, work completion reports, and documentation
• Train customers/end users on product usage and safety
• Ensure adherence to safety standards at project sites
• Support product upgrades and modifications when required
• Maintain service tools, spare parts, and inventory records

Technical Skills Required:

• Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
• Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Hands-on experience with tools and testing equipment
• Knowledge of fabrication/steel structures (preferred if related to containers)
• Understanding of HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems (if applicable)
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, email communication, reporting)

Qualification:

• Diploma / ITI in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Mechatronics
• BE/B.Tech (Preferred for experienced candidates)

Experience:

• Fresher candidates with strong technical knowledge may apply
• 1–3 years of experience in field servicing, installation, or maintenance preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
