Field Service Technician

Service Technician Responsibilities

 Effectively troubleshoot and repair the equipment either owned by the customer or Ohio Valley Ag. These repairs will require service calls and field work at the equipment’s location. Upon completion of the work the technician is required to double check the work that was completed and to communicate to the customer what repairs were made to the equipment.
 Responsible for all work orders assigned to them, making sure the parts are added and removed.
 Responsible for making sure work orders are filled out completely, the time is to be recorded by clocking on and off the work order, and the work orders are signed off when the job is complete.
 Required to keep their assigned truck clean and organized. This also includes reporting when the truck needs to be serviced or repaired.
Work Experience/Education Requirements
 Communicates clearly and effectively with customers
 Mechanical background
 Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic schematics
 Computer skills
 Farming background preferred but not required
 Must have own tools
 High school diploma (or GED)
 Continuing education in the mechanical field (Vocational School or College

Must have valid Driver's License
