Field Service Technician - Document Solutions

Overview
DEX Imaging is seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background with electro-mechanical devices, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain office equipment, such as printers, copiers, large format, and multi-function devices. The primary function of this position is to travel to customer locations to install, repair, and perform maintenance on office equipment. Computer networking knowledge or IT experience is a plus as the majority of these devices are network connected to print and scan. This role requires a commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to work independently while ensuring customer satisfaction and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on office equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
• Travel to customer sites to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to provide excellent service and communications.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
• Communicate effectively with customers, checking in to understand the problem, update them on repair timeline, and provide resolution details.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Field Service Technician is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various manufacturers products, such as Konica, Canon, HP, Sharp, Ricoh, Xerox, Kyocera, Lexmark, Toshiba, Brother, Epson.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Information Technology experience is useful.
• Good driving record without any major driving infractions.
• Salary dependent on experience
