This position involves repair and overhaul of transformers, switchgear, power circuit breakers and related equipment in a shop environment as well as on-site maintenance and testing of power distribution equipment in industrial facilities and power plants. This position works in the field as well as the shop and will be subjected to weekend work, frequent overtime during outage season, and some overnight travel. Primarily be focused on the Western Region territory, with the ideal candidate being based in Washington, California, Arizona, Wyoming or Nevada.

  • Perform repairs, upgrades, and overhaul of Low and Medium Voltage Transformers (mostly 480V thru 15kV)
  • Support on-site maintenance and testing of electrical power distribution equipment at customer facilities throughout the Western Region.
  • Interface with fellow employees and customers routinely while executing work and resolving problems as they arise.
  • Work independently or as part of a team.
  • Possesses strong organizational, written, and verbal communications skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Previous experience working in an industrial/construction environment preferred.
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.
  • High School Diploma required. Technical degree or certificate a plus.
  • Must have demonstrated mechanical abilities working with hand and power tools.
  • Electrical skillset and Welding experience is a plus.

Company Benefits
