We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide technical support for Cargo Vehicle Inspection (CVI) equipment including M60, P60, and ZBV systems in Lebanon. This role involves on-site service, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of complex systems, ensuring operational quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault finding on CVI systems and subsystems.

Support Mercedes vehicle service needs including oil changes, lubricants, and filter replacements.

Organize scheduled maintenance and repairs for M60 and P60 cargo systems.

Act as the local point of contact for technical issues at Lebanon seaports.

Provide oral and written responses to third-line technical support requests.

Deliver defect liability and post-acceptance support for CVI equipment.

Complete technical documentation including service reports and engineering change requests.

Maintain issued equipment including vehicles, spares, consumables, tools, and test equipment in safe condition.

Interact respectfully with customers and operators, considering cultural and language differences.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience supporting complex technical products including engines, drives, PLCs, transmitters, receivers, electrical systems, IT components, and generators.

Experience with Mercedes trucks is an advantage.

Proactive 'can-do' attitude with the ability to complete tasks with limited resources.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Engineering qualification such as BTEC, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent.

Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.

Familiarity with IT networking solutions (e.g., CCNP or equivalent).

Understanding of integrated systems including PLCs, high-voltage systems, and radar.

Relevant practical experience will also be considered.
