Field services support- Mount Pleasant, IA-Onsite

Seeking an experienced IT Specialist to provide onsite technical support in a 24/7 correctional facility. This role supports ~1,500 users and handles a wide range of IT systems, security technologies, and user support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain PCs, servers, networks, VoIP, cameras, and security systems
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Perform cabling, fiber optics, and hardware replacements
• Support security systems (door controls, cameras, recording systems)
• Act as primary help desk contact; manage tickets and resolve issues
• Set up user accounts and manage access
• Maintain inventory and system documentation
• Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and implementations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of hands-on IT support experience
• Strong knowledge of networking, wireless, fiber optics, and security systems
• Experience with system troubleshooting, deployments, and maintenance
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
