Field Superintendent

Job Title: Handyman (Carpentry Experience Required)

We are a property management company overseeing a portfolio of strip malls throughout Nassau and Suffolk County. We are seeking a diligent, trustworthy, and skilled Handyman to support ongoing maintenance and repair needs across multiple commercial properties.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have strong general maintenance abilities with a solid foundation in basic carpentry. This role requires a dependable individual who can work independently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and maintain a high standard of workmanship across various job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and general repairs across multiple commercial properties
• Complete basic carpentry tasks, including door and window adjustments, fixture repairs, minor framing, and hardware installation
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Conduct inspections to identify repair needs and prevent future issues
• Maintain clean and safe work environments at all job sites
• Coordinate with property management regarding materials, repairs, and project updates

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role
• Basic carpentry skills required
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation to travel between Nassau and Suffolk County locations
• Strong work ethic and trustworthy character

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in commercial or retail property maintenance
• Familiarity with basic plumbing and electrical repairs (a plus, not required)

Compensation:
Competitive, based on experience.

Pay: $62,300.54 - $75,028.60 per year
