Field Supervisor, Paediatrics & Child Health

Introduction

The Outreach and Research Programme of the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health has ten community-based field sites across Pakistan (including four in Karachi) and focuses on research for betterment of women and child health. The Department has a Nutritional Research Laboratory as well as an Infectious Disease Research Laboratory that cater to the needs of its research projects. It has well-acclaimed work to its credit both at the national and international level.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

• Liaise closely with the Research Supervisor, Laboratory staff and MSL–IDRL administrative team to ensure smooth coordination of laboratory and field research activities
• Manage field work processes to ensure effective use of time
• Visit different households in the communities to ensure the successful completion of the data collection in their areas including Q/C
  Liaison with admin regarding logistics for field work
• Develop and conduct regular trainings
• Raise wider community awareness on Child Health related issues based on prepared project activity guidelines
• Follow and ensure field implementation of project related SOPs / guidelines as defined in the research project.

Requirement

You should have:

• Intermediate, graduate will be preferred
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent Team Player
• Good communication and interpersonal Skills
• Willing to work in the communities
