Job Summary
This is a full-time on-site role for a Geotechnical and Materials Field Technician based in Phoenix, Arizona.

Duties

  • Responsible for conducting field tests- including collecting soil and material samples.
  • Must be able to collect, document, and analyze data.
  • Must be able to thoroughly and accurately prepare detailed reports.
  • Must be able to properly operate and maintain geotechnical testing equipment and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours or overnight shifts.
  • Must be able to travel out of state for work.
  • Maintain work truck

Requirements

  • Experience in conducting field tests, collecting soil and material samples.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols and ability to expertly follow them.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in various environments.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members.
  • Physical stamina, must be able to work in various weather conditions.
  • Experience in operating vehicles and heavy machinery is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license with clean driving record is required for travel to various job sites.
  • Must be ACI and ATTI field certified.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.50 per hour
