We are seeking a Field Technician to join our Abu Dhabi team and support our regional project technical operations.

Field Technician – Weak Current Systems

Department: Project & Implementation
Reports To: Project Engineer / Project Manager
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Summary

The Weak Current Field Technician is responsible for the on-site installation, commissioning, testing, training, and maintenance of weak current (ELV) systems across industrial, commercial, and hospitality projects. This position requires hands-on experience, technical precision, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork in delivering high-quality system integrations that meet Fescom Middle East’s engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, wiring, termination, and configuration of all weak current (ELV) systems, including:
• Fire Detection & Alarm Systems (EN54/LPCB-compliant)
• IP CCTV Systems
• Access Control and Electronic Security Systems
• Public Address & Voice Alarm (PAVA) Systems
• Structured Cabling & Network Systems
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning as per project documentation and standards.
• Provide end-user training and on-site technical support during project handover.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on installed systems.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project timelines and quality standards are achieved.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Communication Technology (or equivalent technical qualification).
• 1–3 years of experience in ELV / weak-current system installation and maintenance, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong understanding of system wiring, signal testing, and device configuration.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic is a strong plus.
• UAE driving license required.
• Based in Abu Dhabi (or willing to relocate).
