Fill-In Nanny & Household Assistant (Part-Time, College Grove, TN)

We are assisting a wonderful, high-profile family in College Grove, Tennessee (Reeds Vale community, 30 minutes south of Nashville) in their search for an exceptionally reliable, safety-focused, and emotionally intelligent Nanny & Household Assistant to join their home team.

This is a critical support role for a young child on the autism spectrum. The family is seeking someone with unwavering dependability, excellent driving habits, and calm confidence—an individual who thrives in structured environments and finds purpose in helping a child grow, learn, and thrive each day.

Position Details

Location: College Grove, TN (Reeds Vale community)
Schedule:

• Afternoon Shift: 3:15 PM – 7:30/8:00 PM
• Friday afternoon/evening shift may be flexible
• Saturdays and Sundays: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Schedule Requirements: The schedule will be provided a month at a time.
Start Date: Immediate
Compensation: $25–$35 per hour (based on experience and credentials)
Status: Part-time, long-term role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing care for a young child on the autism spectrum
• Safely transport the child to and from therapy sessions and other scheduled activities (vehicle provided for on-duty transportation if needed)
• Maintain an exceptionally clean driving record and exercise sound judgment behind the wheel
• Create and maintain a calm, structured, and supportive daily rhythm
• Assist with meals, snacks, tidying, and light household tasks
• Support transitions, co-regulation, and communication (AAC familiarity a plus)
• Collaborate with parents to ensure consistency and continuity of care
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and clear communication at all times

Qualifications

• RBT certification preferred (or experience working closely with neurodivergent children)
• Proven track record of reliability, punctuality, and integrity
• Clean background check, drug-free, and valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record and reliable personal transportation (required)
• Emotionally mature, steady, and able to stay composed under pressure
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Current First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to renew before start date)
