Job Responsibilities of a Filmmaker

• Develop and shape story ideas into scripts or visual concepts
• Manage filming schedules, locations, and production resources
• Oversee camera work, lighting, sound, and overall visual style
• Supervise editing, sound design, music, and visual effects
• Make creative and technical decisions to achieve high-quality output
• Review final cuts and prepare films for distribution and screening

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Film Studies, Media, or related field
• A portfolio or showreel of previous work
• Skills in video editing software (such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve)
• Passion for films and visual storytelling
• Basic understanding of film equipment and technology
