Northrop Grumman Space Systems has an opening for a Final Assembly Inspector (Level 3 or 4) to join our team in Chandler, AZ.
This position is fully on-site and does not offer relocation benefits.
Experience and Required Skills:
Inspect launch vehicle components, parts, and sub-assemblies for operation and conformance to government and/or company standards and specifications.
Inspect the adjustments, repairs, or modifications made to launch vehicle components, sub-assemblies, and final products.
Verify compliance with quality procedures and specifications (e.g., auditing ISO 9001/AS 9100).
Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process controls or other quality control procedures.
May communicate directly with customers to ensure satisfaction and compliance with contractual requirements.
This position can be filled at either a Level 3 or Level 4.
Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience
Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
Strong written and verbal communications
Ability to travel up to 25%

High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience
Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
Strong written and verbal communications
Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on knowledge of inspection methods and techniques
Knowledge and experiences with inspection tools and equipment
Knowledge of TIPQA, Cost Point, and MES
Experience with nonconformances procedures
We work a 9/80 schedule (9 hours per day Mon-Thurs, 8 hours every other Friday with the alternate Friday off)

Primary Level Salary Range: $62,700.00 - $104,500.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $74,500.00 - $124,100.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
