Overview Oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, budgeting, and compliance to support business decisions and ensure accurate, timely financial information.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting: AP, AR, GL, month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Prepare timely financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) in accordance with IFRS and company policies.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with Qatari tax, statutory reporting, and regulatory requirements; coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Implement and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and SOX/compliance-related processes.
• Oversee payroll coordination with HR and payroll teams; manage payroll accounting and accruals.
• Lead financial planning & analysis (FP&A) activities, KPI reporting, and management dashboards.
• Drive process improvements and automation (ERP implementations, accounting system enhancements).
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff; manage vendor relationships and bank interactions.
• Support M&A, financial modelling, cost analysis, and ad-hoc financial projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred.
• 5+ years accounting/finance experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role; GCC experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, corporate tax, and statutory reporting in Qatar or the region.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA).
• Experience with ERP implementation, treasury management, and financial controls frameworks.
• Arabic language skills desirable.
