Finance & Accounts Executive

About the Role

Gallant Sports is seeking an experienced Finance & Accounts Lead to oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, taxation, and compliance across Pakistan and UK entity. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, cost control, and data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on accounting expertise, solid taxation knowledge, and the ability to support management with financial insights, ROI analysis, and operational costing in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Calculate ROI, operational costing, and fixed asset costing to support business decisions
• Manage end-to-end accounting operations in line with Pakistan & UK accounting standards and internal policies
• Process and manage international payments and banking transactions
• Prepare management reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for senior management and HR
• Maintain general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with complete schedules and reconciliations
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closings, including journal entries and adjustments
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and intercompany reconciliations

Taxation & Compliance

• Calculate and file monthly Sales Tax returns with proper reconciliations
• Prepare and file Withholding Tax returns on salaries, suppliers, contracts, and services
• Handle corporate income tax filings and ensure full FBR compliance
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field (B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA preferred)
• Professional certifications such as ACCA (Part Qualified), CA Inter, or ICMA are a strong advantage
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting
• Experience working with ERP systems and structured accounting environments
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, taxation laws, payroll, and internal controls
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills
