Finance & Accounts Lead

We are seeking a Finance & Accounts Lead to manage financial reporting, taxation, and accounting operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and Pakistan’s regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Oversee company accounts as per Pakistan Accounting Standards (PAS) and internal policies.
• Manage general ledger, payables, receivables, fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with supporting schedules.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closings, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, supplier, and customer ledgers.
• Monitor depreciation, provisions, write-offs, and other adjustments.
• Prepare management reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for HQ and senior management.
• Process monthly payroll with statutory deductions in compliance with local laws.

Taxation & Compliance

• Calculate and manage GST/Sales Tax on goods, services, imports, and purchases.
• Prepare and file monthly Sales Tax returns and reconcile input/output tax.
• Prepare and file Withholding Tax returns on salaries, suppliers, contracts, and services.
• Handle annual corporate income tax filings and ensure FBR compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and internal teams for smooth reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field (B. Com, M. Com, BBA, MBA, ACCA, CA Inter preferred).
• Professional certifications such as ACCA (Part Qualified), CA Inter, or ICMA are a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP.
• Experience coordinating with international headquarters teams .
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, payroll, and internal controls.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Nice to Have

• Advanced Excel, reporting tools, or Power BI skills for financial analysis.
