Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
- Manage payroll processing in compliance with UAE WPS (Wage Protection System) regulations
- Ensure timely salary transfers, EOSB calculations, leave settlements, and payroll reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records using Tally ERP and ensure system integrity
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and expense control
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and coordinate tax filings
- Support external audits and ensure proper documentation for statutory requirements
- Implement and maintain internal control procedures
- Monitor financial performance and provide management with reports and recommendations
- Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities when required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the UAE
- Strong working knowledge of WPS, UAE labor law payroll compliance, and VAT
- Proficiency in Tally ERP (mandatory)
- Experience handling full-cycle payroll and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of IFRS and UAE financial regulations
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
