Finance analyst

Job Summary

Duties

• Analyse financial data using SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI to identify trends and insights.
• Develop detailed financial models and forecasts to support business planning and budgeting processes.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint for senior management review.
• Assist in financial planning activities by providing accurate data analysis and recommendations.
• Collaborate with IT teams to optimise data collection and reporting systems.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders through written reports and verbal presentations.
• Maintain organised records of financial information in compliance with company policies.
• Support ongoing process improvements related to financial analysis and reporting functions.

Experience

• (0 - 3 years ) experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
• Experience with Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and visualisations.
• Knowledge of financial planning, analysis techniques, and accounting principles.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to convey complex information clearly.

Pay: $60,098.14 - $72,376.26 per year
