Finance Analyst - Bangalore

Position Summary

We have a new position for a Finance Analyst, to join the Indian finance team at our head office based in Hebbal, Bangalore, India.

About the role

This is a key position in the finance team and is critical to the Company operations & statutory compliance. The primary responsibilities would include:

  • Assist in the preparation of month end reporting of profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow, and Management Information Systems (MIS).
  • Help build and track the cash flow forecast, ensure all invoices are processed for payments to help meet the forecast.
  • Prepare the bank documents for Letter of Credit and telegraphic transfers submissions for exports transactions.
  • Responsible for regular reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts and ensure provisions and accruals are accurate.
  • Assist the finance manager during the audit process, both internal and external.
  • Assist in preparation of various tax reports, maintaining appropriate Goods and Services Tax (GST) records of the company, related reconciliation and filing of timely returns to ensure the business is compliant.
  • Track the leases of all Company vehicles, coordination with vendor, forecasting the related cost and payment processing.
  • Be an active member to help in key process improvements, document repository, understand current accounting system and help in transition to SAP.
  • Actively coordinate & work with consultants on preparation of quarterly and annual Income Tax filing.
  • Assist with assigned ad hoc projects to ensure they met specified team and business outcomes.

About you

Education and work experience requirements:

  • A qualified Chartered Accountant with 0-3 years of working experience.
  • Candidate should be well conversant with latest Accounting Standards, Statutory & Tax regulations like PF, ESI, TDS etc.
  • Willingness to handle Accounting & MIS and have hands-on data analytics experience.
  • Sharp business acumen, proven advanced Excel skills & tech savvy.
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency.
  • Should have been a member of a team handling big4 audits, capability of working with multiple stake holders.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise in order to meet tight deadlines having excellent attention to details.
