Finance and Administration Manager

Responsibilities

A. Financial Management & Reporting

· Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial models. Analyze financial data and provide insights on trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

· Accounting Operations: Oversee all accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities. Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

· Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) for management and stakeholders.

· Cash Flow Management: Manage company cash flow, including forecasting, to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs. Oversee banking relationships and investments.

· Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax filings. Manage the annual audit process and serve as the primary contact for external auditors.

· Cost Control & Analysis: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives. Analyze operational costs and profitability.

· Tax Strategy: Work with external accountants to develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liability and ensure compliance.

· Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.

B. Administrative & Operational Management

· Office Management: Oversee the smooth running of the office, including facilities management, supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships (e.g., leases, insurance, cleaners, IT support).

· Human Resources Oversight: Often manages or supports HR functions such as:

· Payroll processing and benefits administration.

· Recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.

· Maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

· Supporting performance management processes.

· Technology & Systems: Oversee the company's IT infrastructure, software systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, accounting software), and data security. Lead or assist in technology upgrades.

· Legal & Compliance: Manage business licenses, permits, and corporate insurance policies. Ensure the company adheres to all operational regulations.

· Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and administrative staff (e.g., accountants, administrative assistants).

· Strategic Support: Provide data-driven recommendations to the CEO and senior management team to support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.

· Policy Development: Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Highly Preferred: Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master's in Finance or Accounting.

- Professional Certification (Often Required): Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or similar credential (e.g., CMA) is highly valued.

- Minimum 5-8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.

- At least 3-5 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity, with proven experience leading a team.

- Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.

- Hands-on experience with managing administrative functions, HR, and office operations (especially in smaller organizations).

- Financial Modeling: Strong ability to build and maintain complex financial models for forecasting and scenario planning.

- Leadership & Team Management: Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a team.

- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in ARABIC and English

- Attention to Detail: Meticulous accuracy is critical in all financial and regulatory matters.
