Finance and Human Resources Manager
Introduction
The Finance & HR Manager at Ambleside School is deeply committed to Christ, children, and education. This role supports the school’s financial operations and personnel administration, fostering an environment of integrity, accuracy, and faithful stewardship. As a "minister" of the school, the Manager models a servant-hearted approach and supports the mission of forming children in wisdom and virtue, rooted in the philosophy of Charlotte Mason.
Engaging warmly and professionally with staff, parents, board members, and the community, the Manager ensures that the school’s financial and human resources functions are handled with diligence, transparency, and confidentiality. This position is integral to sustaining the operational strength of the school in alignment with its Christ-centered mission.

Position Overview
Ambleside is seeking a trustworthy and detail-oriented Finance & HR Manager to support its financial and personnel operations. This role combines bookkeeping functions—including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and financial reporting—with human resources support, such as onboarding, benefits administration, and maintaining personnel records. The Manager will work closely with the Director of Operations and Head of School to ensure compliance, accuracy, and faithful stewardship of school resources.
