Finance Assistant

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update financial records such as ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
  • Processing vendor invoices, onboarding of vendors
  • Process accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
  • Assist in payroll processing. Allocation staff reimbursement costs to relevant ledgers
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
  • Month end financial reporting
  • Assist with tax preparation and filing.
  • Experience in D365 will be an added advantage

Qualifications And Skills

  • Education: Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of accounting or related experience, preferably in the UAE.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software Microsoft 365 and advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with UAE VAT laws and regulations.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in a Retail environment
