Finance Assistant

American Power & Gas is seeking a Finance Assistant to be responsible for Risk, Analysis, forecasting, etc.

Responsible for:

• Support the development and implementation of risk management frameworks, identifying financial, operational, and compliance risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and analyze risk exposure across business units, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term planning models based on historical data and market trends.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual results and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards, reports, and KPIs using data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting.
• Perform trend analysis, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis to evaluate potential business outcomes.
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key risks, forecasts, and performance insights.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Support audits and internal reviews by providing accurate financial data and documentation.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and enhanced analytics.
