Role Summary:

The Finance Trainee will assist the finance team in handling day-to-day financial operations, including financial reporting, data analysis, budgeting, and compliance. This internship offers hands-on experience in financial management, accounting practices, and corporate finance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in financial data entry, reconciliation, and record-keeping.
• Support in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Conduct data analysis to identify financial trends and variances.
• Help with invoice processing, accounts payable, and receivable tracking.
• Assist in tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Research and analyze market trends, costs, and investment opportunities.
• Maintain financial documents and ensure proper documentation and filing.
• Support senior finance professionals in ad hoc financial projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (last semester or completed) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage financial data accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Eager to learn and develop financial expertise.
