Position Overview
As a member of the Finance Business Intelligence team within the Finance Transformations Team, you will support finance reporting systems, Data Governance operations, and Finance Master Data Management operations. Additionally, you will perform some development work for dashboards or automations that support our team and our partners. This work is critical in supporting our Partners across Finance, including COO Finance, Corporate & Product Finance, Revenue Accounting and other Controllership Teams.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a curiosity to understand the “why” behind the work we perform and seek to understand the big picture. In addition, the BI Analyst will be comfortable digging into the details of each operational task or development effort and work independently. Finally, the successful BI Analyst will have a passion for improving customer experience by demonstrating a continuous curiosity to explore new technologies and solutions that push us past the status quo.
Responsibilities
As a BI Analyst, you will be responsible for performing key monitoring and operational activities for finance as well as occasional development of dashboards or automation.
Monitor reporting systems and dashboards during critical periods. Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular data validation and governance capabilities
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and automations by translating functional requirements into valuable products that support our customers
Support Data Governance Operations through maintenance of Data Dictionaries
Support MDM through maintenance of Finance Master Data such as Project Codes, Profit Centers, Cost Centers, GEO Hierarchies in our ERP and Finance Reporting Systems
Create and maintain high-quality documentation on new and existing processes.
Interface and communicate with partners in our technology teams (GET) to drive high-quality resolutions to issues that arise as well as solutions for the future
Act as point of contact for finance partners requesting new reports, enhancements to existing reports
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest technologies, principles, and practices to support Finance Teams and Finance Systems
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Finance or CS or equivalent work experience
Experience with Microsoft Office 365, primarily Excel
Experience with ERP Systems (i.e. SAP S/4)
Experience with Power BI (DAX), SQL
Experience Analyzing Complex Problems
Strong problem-solving skills
High self-motivation
Excellent teamwork and relationship development skills
Strong communicator with both Business users and technical staff
Rigorous attention to detail and application of standards and processes
