The Business Intelligence Analyst will assist the Director of Finance and sit at the intersection of FP&A, data/analytics, and decision support.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and will operate with a heart of service, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Data, Governance, and Analysis

Clean, prepare, and model raw data from various sources to create both specific-use datasets and broader departmental data models

Own validation, reconciliation, and ongoing monitoring of Finance data models to ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency

Act as the Finance data domain owner, ensuring alignment across systems and reporting

Document data models, definitions, and logic in partnership with IT

Develop and implement methods to improve data quality, reliability, and accessibility

Translate complex business questions into actionable analyses and interpret/present insights in a clear way to diverse audiences including senior management
Reporting, Automation, and Process Improvement

Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations

Replace recurring manual reports and analyses with automated, scalable solutions

Design new reports that can be deployed across regions, sectors, or business units

Identify inefficiencies in workflows and redesign for greater scalability and performance
AI and Advanced Analytics

Identify and implement AI use cases across Finance workflows

Develop and deploy Finance-specific GPTs and AI-enabled tools
-
Spearhead the adoption and integration of cutting-edge business intelligence and AI tools and technologies, working closely with IT to ensure robust and secure systems

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Computer Science or related field

3–5+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, business intelligence, or data analytics

Experience working in a corporate or operational finance environment preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business intelligence software like PowerBI, Crystal Reports, or Tableau required

Basic coding and programming knowledge required; SQL preferred

Exposure to big data platforms preferred (e.g., Databricks or similar)

Exposure to AI tools, automation platforms, or GPT-based solutions preferred

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and data accuracy
