Would you like to join our Finance team at Mérieux NutriSciences Turkey?

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Finance Director to lead our finance and accounting function in Turkey. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing all financial, legal, and risk management activities, ensuring compliance, safeguarding company assets, and driving accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance department (Accounting, Financial Reporting, Internal Control, Treasury, Tax, FP&A, IT-related finance projects).
• Act as a business partner to senior management, supporting strategic and operational decision-making through financial analysis and insights.
• Develop financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives and provide recommendations for improvement, cost efficiency, and growth opportunities.
• Oversee financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to both local management and the parent corporation.
• Monitor financial performance through KPIs and targets; prepare and present monthly reports with actionable recommendations.
• Manage treasury operations, optimize cash flow, and strengthen bank and deposit relationships.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory tax filings, Turkish GAAP, IFRS, and legal regulations.
• Lead risk management activities and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support due diligence for acquisitions and serve as the primary contact for internal and external auditors.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering collaboration and a positive work environment.

Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

 Minimum 3 years of experience as Finance Director in a multinational company.

 Strong background in working with international groups under strict reporting governance and internal control frameworks.

 Proven experience in profitability support, revenue growth, and external/internal audits.

 In-depth knowledge of financial and tax law, risk management, Turkish GAAP & IFRS.

 Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (SAP), and reporting software (OneStream).

 Strong leadership, business acumen, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and

strategize.

 Excellent communication skills in English (French is a plus).
