Finance Director

The ideal candidate will contribute to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing all financial tasks. They will oversee the financial operations of the business and provide frequent financial reports. They will also assure strict adherence to financial regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic financial leadership to support the group’s long-term growth and profitability objectives.

Oversee the preparation, accuracy, and integrity of consolidated financial statements and management reports.

Develop and implement robust financial strategies, policies, and procedures across the group’s entities.

Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with corporate goals and business plans.

Monitor financial performance and provide timely insights and recommendations to senior management.

Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.

Manage treasury operations, including liquidity planning, cash flow management, and investment decisions.

Optimize capital structure and support the group’s financing activities, including debt and equity arrangements.

Lead risk management initiatives by identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial and operational risks.

Provide financial due diligence and valuation analysis for mergers, acquisitions, and divestments.

Drive cost optimization and efficiency improvements across the group’s operations.

Oversee internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure effective governance practices.

Collaborate with business units to evaluate financial feasibility of new projects and strategic initiatives.

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and professional growth.

Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Board of Directors, and executive team on financial matters and business strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 15 - 20 years of experience in finance or accounting
• CMA designation
• Strong communication and analytical skills
